Convert Your Valuable Cassette Tape to CD

The days of listening to the music on audio cassette player or your tape recorder are gone. Now days, CD player is one of the most sought after and easiest way of enjoying music. But you would be wondering what to do with the cassette tapes that are placed in a box for years. You don’t need to worry about your cassette tapes as you can convert them into CD’s by applying minimum efforts and money.
In order to convert the cassette tape, you need a tape player, a headphone jack, soundcard enabled computer, 3.5mm male-male stereo audio cable and a free ‘Audacity ‘software. You need to plug in the ‘Line out’ jack of the audio cable into the cassette player and other end into the soundcard’s ‘Microphone’ of the computer. Now start the Audacity and change the type of the input to ‘Line in’ or ‘Microphone’. By pressing the record button on Audacity and then pressing play button on the cassette tape, it starts recording. Now press the stop button on Audacity when the tape is finished playing.
In final step, you just need to use File-> Export as WAV menu item to save the recording and as a consequence the WAV file gets saved on your computer. Now convert this folder into a CD, MP3 or in any digital form you want.
