How To Make MP3 Files From LP Records? |
|
|
|
Usually, most of the people have some LP records, the old vinyl records, which were very popular in olden times. Many specialized recordings, such as jazz, world, easy listening and unusual music records cannot be located on CD. In fact, they are no longer produced.
You can also enjoy these old track records, by simply transforming to CD's and MP3 files, so as to listen them on the computer, MP3 player, or the CD player. Here is how you can transfer the vinyl record albums to MP3 and CD files and enjoy the old times, out of print records again. |
- Get a USB-connection turntable. It can be connected to the computer through standard USB port and to any typical stereo receiver through normal red and white plus for input and output.
- Install the Audacity software into the computer. It will let you record from the turntable to the computer.
- After software installation, think of whether the entire sides of a record album, or perhaps individual songs, are to be loaded. The software must be closed after recording each file.
- Follow the instructions along with the software, and record each track onto the computer. Be careful in logging the name, album artist and song title into the computer.
- Save files as an MP3 file. Always, listen to the files immediately, to be sure that they have been recorded well and are at the proper volume. Transfer MP3 files to the listening device, or open the file and listen immediately on the computer.
